To Give or To Receive?

Is it truly better to give than receive? Research seems to indicate that giving gifts is in fact better. Two new studies suggest that giving to others caused participants to feel happiness for longer. The participants continued to feel better when giving than even after receiving multiple gifts repeatedly.

Which Stores Should We Avoid?

According to a new study published in PLoS Medicine that involved over 7,000 people, there was a 76% decreased likelihood of people seeking common processed snack foods and candy when there was none to be found at the checkout counter. It’s almost as if stores have always known the American mind and the power of “impulse buying”… If you can find a store that does not carry a large “at the counter” stock then you is going to be helping yourself maybe more than you realize.
